2022 Instagram Marketing Trends: What Do You Need to Know

Social Media has been growing ever since it was first discovered. People use it to showcase all sorts of talent, art, sports, etc., to their respective audiences throughout the world, and they can see it instantly.

Many companies have used Instagram to market and promote their ideas and products on social media. Instagram, one of the pioneers in the social media world, has continued to grow and adapt to the world's circumstances.

There are new marketing trends that are growing and old trends that are dying. You need to know if you are trying to promote whatever you need to grow your audience and gain a higher following.

Link Stickers

As I said previously, Instagram is quick to adapt and pick up on new ideas for social media promotions. For example, Instagram has recently added "Link stickers," a tool in Instagram that marketers could use to make it even easier on their audience and digital customers. A link sticker uses any sticker or caption, and when people tap or press on it, it automatically pops up a link to a website of whatever you are trying to make them go to. So, for example, if you are a product company, by using a link sticker, you could quickly put the link into the caption of "click this!" on the image they are showing on Instagram. The link may make the audience click on the website of the product you are trying to sell. Making it easier on the customers makes it user-friendly, but it showcases that the product company cares about their audience and how they could easily purchase their product.

Influencers

Another way of using Instagram is using their top Instagrammers. What I mean by Instagrammers is the influencers that are the top viewed and followed people on Instagram. Allowing these influencers to promote a product, event, or idea would push your audience into a broader group or make your audience further since the influencer might have more followers interested in the product type but not exactly your product. The pricing on this type of promotion would also vary depending on the influencer, so you might want to be careful how much money you are willing to put into this type of promotion.

In-App Shopping

Recently, Instagram has added many new features such as "in-app shopping" this easily allows companies to put their products within the Instagram app and let their audiences who want that product buy it from Instagram's in-app shopping. Although this is new and no one can tell if this tool will be helpful, it's a good idea to keep a lookout for it and use it to good use.

Instagram Live

There has also been a trend up in Instagram live where influencers or a product social media manager could go live and promote within the life. Of course, this all depends on the total following you have on Instagram since only the followers would get a notification. You should try the "go-live" tool to promote if you have a high following.

Reels

There has also been a growth in Instagram videos, "Instagram reels." This is the "Tik-Tok" section of Instagram, where audiences scroll through 15 to 30 seconds videos, but many people are using this. It could be a fantastic way to easily promote your product, ideas, and events to your audience.

Instagram will continue to adapt to the world and make the platform very easy for the audience to see what they want to see. In addition, Instagram is an effortless and reliable way to digitize your marketing strategies to maximize marketing and promote your ideas and products.
